Erin Viramontes LPC Associate
Resident Therapist

Erin Viramontes

Welcome!

I have always had a heart for helping others. Before becoming a mental health professional, I advocated for children and families in crisis as both a foster parent and caseworker at Casa de Esperanza. My experience in these roles solidified my passion and provided a strong foundation to continue promoting the well-being of individuals and families in need.

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults in individual, group, and family therapy. I have supported clients through a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, parenting, and suicidal ideation. I believe counseling is a collaborative process with the therapeutic relationship as a powerful vehicle for change. With a calm and compassionate presence, I strive to create a safe space for deep reflection, honest conversation, and meaningful progress toward each client’s goals. My approach is primarily person-centered and strengths-based, with influences from cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices. I have personally experienced the life-changing love and grace of God, and I welcome conversations around spirituality for those who wish to explore or integrate it into therapy.

I am originally from the Midwest but have called Houston home for the past eight years. Some of my favorite activities include cooking brunch food, outdoor exercise, and serving in my church community. I am honored to journey with the clients of Fuller Life toward growth and healing.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate under the supervision of Amy Fuller, PhD, LPC-S, LMFT-S. I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas in Houston.

I currently see individuals, couples, and families in person at Fuller Life Loop and North and virtually for telehealth.
