Manet Castañeda, Resident Therapist

Bilingual English/Spanish Speaking Therapist

I am honored to say that my calling and my passion is to walk with couples and individuals who are suffering at various moments of their lives. I choose to join with my clients by providing a space in which they can engage in self-exploration and healing.

My area of focus is in couples and individual therapy.  I am privileged to walk with my clients as they grow and develop into healthier and happier couples and individuals. I am committed to approaching each therapeutic relationship with compassion, respect and to encourage an environment that is growth promoting and safe for all my clients.

My desire to help hurting individuals led me to pursue a bachelor’s in family studies at Abilene Christian University. Soon after graduating from ACU, I enrolled at the University of Houston Clear Lake, where I obtained a master’s degree in counseling. At present time, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the direct supervision of Amy Fuller, PhD, LPC-S

Outside of the therapy office, I greatly enjoy spending time at home with my beloved pets. I am very fond of taking walks as a way of relaxing and engaging in mindfulness and I also enjoy practicing hot yoga.
