Resident Therapist

Shayla Johnson, MA, MDiv

Embarking on therapy is about understanding how we function, recognizing when we struggle, and sometimes, unraveling the reasons behind our challenges. Therapy serves as a space for decompression, where we can release burdens we may not even realize we’re carrying. It’s a multifaceted journey tailored to each client to unearth insights that often lie dormant within us but may require guidance to surface.

As a professional with a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Master’s in Divinity from the Houston Graduate School of Theology, and licensed as a Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Amy Fuller PhD, LPC-S, LMFT-S, I also hold a certificate in art therapy.

I am dedicated to supporting you in your journey of self-discovery. I firmly believe that the answers we seek are within.

I see clients in person at Fuller LIfe West and via secure tele-health and am available by appointment only.

To schedule an appointment please contact me by email at Shayla@fullerlifefamilytherapy.org by phone at (713) 685-2049 or thorough our webform.
