A Better Me Wellness

Hello! My name is Stephanie Jordan and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling and a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Houston Graduate School of Theology and received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California. Previously, I worked in the Human Resources field for more than 20 years; and I am humbled to transition into the professional counseling field to serve others.

My desire is to help hurting people with broken spirits, find healing in pursuit of their best life. Likewise, I am passionate about helping others live out their spirituality and deepen their relationship with God through the practice of spiritual direction. My focus is in mental health counseling and psychotherapy with a specialization in grief work.

I am a graduate of Fuller Life holding a post-graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. I now serve on the Board of Directors at Fuller Life.

I work with many client populations ranging from older adolescents to adults; and provide counseling to those suffering from complicated grief and/or other emotional loss(es), difficulties with family dynamics, dating and relationship problems, image, identity, and self-esteem issues, depression, career and/or other life transitions, those searching for meaning and purpose in life, as well as those struggling with spiritual matters.

If any of these dilemmas feel burdensome, stressful, or too heavy for you to carry alone, and impact your ability to function normally, please know there is always hope and a way to move forward. It would be a privliege to accompany you on your journey and support you in your coureagous decision to honor yourself, find healing, and realize your own resilience.

“No matter how dark the moment, love and hope are always possible.” – George Chakiris
