Having endured and overcome life altering losses myself, I am humbled to transition into the professional counseling field to serve others. My mission is to help hurting people with broken spirits, find healing in pursuit of their best life; and my speciality area is grief counseling and therapy. Likewise, I am passionate about helping others live out their spirituality and deepen their relationship with God through the practice of spiritual direction.
Currently, I am a student practitioner graduating in December 2018 from Houston Graduate School of Theology with a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling and a Certificate in Spiritual Direction. I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California, and have more than 20 years of professional work experience in the Human Resources industry.
My counseling training and education have prepared me to work with teens, college students, young adults, and adults suffering from grief and other emotional losses. I also work with individuals experiencing problems associated with family dynamics, dating and relationships, image, identity, and esteem issues, spirituality issues, depression, career coaching, and life transitions.
If any of these dilemmas feel burdensome, stressful, or too heavy for you to carry alone, and impact your ability to function normally, please know there is always hope and a way to move forward. Through individual therapy, I will tailor a treatment plan to support your therapeutic goals and desired outcomes. I hope to empower you to embrace accountability, create possibilities for yourself, and develop viable solutions to your concerns.
I look forward to meeting you at Fuller Life Family Therapy and would welcome an opportunity to work with you. As a student practitioner I am supervised by Dr. Amy Fuller, PhD, LMFT-S, LPC-S.
