Zoila Medina

Zoila Medina is deeply committed to walking alongside individuals with compassion, care, and purpose through professional therapy. She believes healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported—especially during life’s most challenging seasons. Zoila is married, and she and her husband share life with their beloved dog, Gracie, who is a cherished part of their family.

Zoila is in the final months of completing her graduate degree in Christian Counseling at Houston Christian University and currently serves as a graduate therapist at Fuller Life Family Therapy Institute. She practices under the supervision of Amy Fuller, PhD, LMFT-S, LPC-S, ensuring that her work is ethically grounded, clinically sound, and supported by experienced professional guidance.

Zoila brings both professional training and lived experience into the therapy room. She utilizes evidence-based therapeutic approaches and values the role that faith and spirituality can play in the healing process. When appropriate and aligned with client preferences, she integrates spiritual considerations into therapy in a respectful and thoughtful manner.

She works with clients from a variety of cultural and personal backgrounds and has a particular understanding of Hispanic and bilingual communities, informed by her Salvadoran heritage. Zoila has experience supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm and approaches therapy with empathy, authenticity, and respect for each client’s story.

Having personally navigated seasons of anxiety and depression, Zoila strives to meet clients exactly where they are—offering a safe, supportive space marked by encouragement, understanding, and gentle guidance as clients build resilience and move forward with clarity and purpose.

Zoila sees clients at Fuller Life East, located in the Port Houston community at Neighbors in Action, and at Fuller Life West Orem in southwest Houston in partnership with the West Orem YMCA. She also offers virtual therapy for added accessibility and convenience. Zoila provides flexible scheduling and offers therapy in both English and Spanish.
