Robert LaBarbera

I believe that all people have value and a unique calling for their life.  While we all experience hard things in life, it is possible to heal and work though the difficulty to find hope for the future. I provide caring and compassionate professional counseling for individuals, couples and families with mental and emotional struggles.  I look forward to providing a safe, nonjudgmental space to talk about the challenges you are facing, working with you toward healing, and discovering your calling to guide your next steps for your life.

Robert has a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Houston and a master’s degree in Strategic Business Planning from the University of Houston Clear Lake.  After 22 years in both the public and private business sectors working in Information Technology, he felt the calling of God to change careers and become a Christian Counselor. Robert holds a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Houston Christian University. Robert is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and sees clients both virtually and in person though Fuller Life Family Therapy, under the supervision of Amy Fuller PhD.

Even though he specializes in Christian (Catholic and Protestant) Counseling, he works with people in an open and accepting manner.  Robert enjoys working with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness, relationship issues, addiction, enmeshment, and co-dependency.  He also helps those with marriage and family issues.
